Sindh’s rich cultural heritage and its legacy of Sufism were celebrated with fervor on Sindhi Culture Day. Provincial Minister for Energy and Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, lauded the province’s ancient civilization, culture, and the spirit of brotherhood and mutual tolerance that define its people. Minister Shah emphasized Sindh’s unique identity as the “land of Sufis” and congratulated all Pakistanis on the day.
He described Sindhi Culture Day as a moment to honor and preserve traditions, symbolized by the iconic Sindhi Topi (cap) and Ajrak (traditional block-printed shawl), which represent unity, respect, and dignity.
