LAHORE – Former Pakistani cricket team captain Shoaib Malik has asked the Indian team to visit Pakistan and play upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

Shoaib Malik also asked the BCCI to keep the politics out of game.

Talking on a YouTube channel, the former captain discussed his career, future plans and the issue of captaincy in the team, expressing his thoughts openly.

He mentioned that the Pakistani cricket team had toured India for the 2023 World Cup, and now it’s time for India to visit Pakistan.

Shoaib Malik emphasized that while there are reservations between the two countries, politics should not interfere with sports. He urged to keep politics away from sports and visit Pakistan, assuring that Pakistanis are hospitable and welcoming.

He added that the Pakistani team visited India last year, and now it’s the turn of the Indian team. He believed it would be a great opportunity for them, as many players in their team had never been to Pakistan or played here.

He is confident that it would be very beneficial for them, and the team should definitely come.
