ISLAMABAD – After the opposition leader in the National Assembly, Umar Ayub and Shibli Faraz has also resigned from the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.
Shibli Faraz, the leader of the opposition in the Senate and a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has resigned from the membership of the Judicial Commission. Senator Ali Zafar will now represent the Judicial Commission in his place.
Opposition leader Umar Ayub has also resigned from the Judicial Commission.
Umar Ayub and Shibli Faraz have resigned from the Judicial Commission on the instructions of the founder of PTI.
Two days ago, PTI nominated Barrister Gohar and Senator Ali Zafar for the Judicial Commission from the National Assembly.
