Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-N president Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday strongly condemned siege of Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi and attack on Chinese military.
In a series of tweets, the PML-N president said that while the world fights the coronavirus pandemic, India is consumed by jingoism, adding that siege of Pakistani High Commission in New Dehli and attack on Chinese forces reflect its nefarious designs that can endanger regional peace.
“We express our unflinching solidarity with government and the people of China,” he said.
Shahbaz Sharif went on to say that extreme oppression in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, aggression in Ladakh and unwarranted ceasefire violations on LOC are clear examples of Indian aggression.
The opposition leader further said that UN and Security Council should not be a silent spectator but play role in curbing Indian war frenzy, adding that the people of Pakistan support China and stand with the people of China against every Indian aggression.
