Teams from the Sindh Food Authority and the Assistant Commissioner’s office in Kemari district joined forces for an operation in the Jackson Market Harbor area. Deputy Director Bashir Khan and Assistant Commissioner ShaistaJabeen oversaw the operation, which uncovered milk contaminated with chemicals.
Hundreds of liters of the tainted milk were disposed of during the operation. Inspectors also visited milk shops and pakwan centers, levying fines on several establishments for sanitation violations. Deputy Director Bashir Khan emphasized that the sale of chemically adulterated milk would not be tolerated in Kemari district, reiterating the commitment to crack down on such practices under the direction of Director General Agha FakharHussain.
