At least seven people, including two minors, died and 12 other persons were wounded in separate incidents of roof collapse in Chiniot, Gujrat and Gujranwala on Friday night.
According to details, roof of a dilapidated house located in village Aziz near Chiniot collapsed due the recent heavy rain due to which three persons sustained injuries.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
Roof of a house located in Asjad Town area of Gujrat also collapsed due to rain as a result a security guard was killed.
The dead body of the deceased was handed over to his heirs.Separately, two minor children were killed while their father.
