SEPA seals M/s Unique Plastic Disposal

Naeem Ahmed Mughal Director General, Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) sealed M/s. Unique Plastic Disposal located at Plot No. 112/2, Sector 7/A, Haji Ibrahim Goth, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi on Wednesday here due to improper of handling of Hazardous Waste Material including unauthorized management of Hazardous, Medical, Infectious & expired Goods at their facility.
DG SEPA also paid site visit of said company along with concerned Deputy Director (Tech.)/ District Incharge of District Korangi and Field Team. During surprise visit it was found that insufficient measures were taken by the said company with regard handling of hazardous waste material and engaged in gross violation of Sindh Environmental Protection Act-2014 and its Rules & Regulations made there under.
