ISLAMABAD – Illahi Bux Soomro, a seasoned Pakistani politician and former Speaker of the National Assembly, breathed his last at the age of 98 on Wednesday.
Sardar Maula Baksh confirmed death of seasoned leader who served as Speaker from 1997 to 2001, and played a significant role in the country’s legislative history. His funeral will be offered in Karachi on Thursday.
