Senior KP doctor dies of Coronavirus

Another senior doctor breathed his last while fighting coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday. Dr Izzat Khan was working as Principal Medical Officer at Charsadda District Hospital.

After the death of Dr Izzat Khan, the number of doctors killed by the Covid-19 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has now risen to 48.

According to Provincial Doctors Association, Dr Izzat Khan, who was a Grade 19 medical officer, has been under treatment at Peshawar’s Hayatabad Medical Complex for the last two weeks. He breathed his last on Wednesday morning.

His Namaz-i-Janaza will be offered at Kaskor Machni near Rest House Mohmand Agency at 4:00 pm today.—INP
