Human consciousness always gives birth to new ideas and language is the medium of expression of these ideas. The study of language is actually equivalent to the study of man, because language is the only difference between any human being, animal or bird.
This was stated by Chairman Department of Sindhi Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Dr Syed Amir Ali Shah while addressing the seminar on “Social Work of Literature”. He said that language has played a vital role in the evolution of any society; rather language is not possible so the truth is that the history of language is the history of man himself.
He said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University is the only university where seminars on Sindhi Language, languages and literature are conducted from time to time. Speaking on the occasion Lecturer Dr Phullo Manghwar said that the most important function of literature is to convey any thought to the common man and to create a new culture and make them a part of public culture.
