Quetta – The security forces successfully thwarted a terrorist attack orchestrated by militants in the Mach area of Balochistan on Tuesday.
The operation resulted in the terrorists being forced to retreat from their planned assault.
According to the reliable sources, the security forces intercepted and disrupted a firing raid initiated by militants associated with the banned outfit, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), within the vicinity of Mach.
During the meticulously executed operation, the security personnel neutralized five militants affiliated with the BLA.
Following the swift and decisive response from the security forces, the militants were compelled to abandon their mission, fleeing the scene in the face of formidable resistance.
The security forces initiated a comprehensive search operation to apprehend the fleeing militants.
Meanwhile, Balochistan’s interim Information Minister Jan Achakzai has reassured the public amidst reports of rocket fire emanating from the mountains in Mach.
He said no casualties or damages have been reported thus far, with law enforcement agencies maintaining heightened vigilance and readiness to address any potential threats.
