Secretary Social Welfare visits city

Secretary Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Punjab Mehr Muhammad Hayat Lak visited here on Monday.

He went to Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology (FIC) and handed over the three double and single chamber batteries worth about Rs 800,000 to heart patients at their beds in the hospital. The batteries were donated by Heart Saver Foundation.

He also handed over medicine worth Rs 1 million to Medical Superintendent Dr Sajid. He said the Punjab government was expanding medical facilities for the treatment of heart patients at the FIC but the services of Heart Saver foundation for donating machinery, medicine and other resources were highly commendable.
