LAHORE – Pakistani squash players delivered outstanding performances at the Scottish Junior Open Squash Tournament, securing titles in four different categories.
The players claimed third positions in three other age groups.
The Pakistani players secured victories in the Boys’ under-13, Boys’ under-15, Boys’ under-17, and Girls’ under-13 categories. The clashes took place in Edinburg.
In the Boys’ Under-13 final, Pakistan’s Suhail Adnan defeated Spain’s Etzel Reguiero Garcia in straight sets (3-0) to claim the title. In the Boys’ Under-15 final, Huzaifa Shahid triumphed over Singapore’s Rehan Singh in a thrilling contest, winning 3-2.
In the Boys’ Under-17 category, Pakistan’s Azaan Khan secured his first gold medal by defeating Switzerland’s Leandro Vogel.
Meanwhile, in the Girls’ Under-13 category, Mahnoor Ali defeated India’s Diwanshi Jain to clinch the title.
Pakistani players also showed remarkable performances in other categories.
In the Boys’ Under-13, Sakhi Khan Tareen secured third place while Sehrish Ali in the Girls’ Under-15 and Mehwish Ali in the Girls’ Under-17 categories also earned third positions.
