The Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Usman Dar paid surprise visit to a panah gah’ (shelter), set up in Talab Sheikh Maula Bakhash, where he met the residents and dined with them.
The Deputy Commissioner Zeshan Javed, the president Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Qaiser Iqbal Baryar and others accompanied him during the visit. While inspecting the ‘panah gah’, SAPM Usman Dar praised the arrangements there and also lauded the family of president SCCI Qaiser Iqbal Baryar for setting it up for the poor and homeless.
Usman Dar said that with the cooperation from the Sialkot based philanthropists more such ‘panah gahs’ would be set up in Sialkot in order to provide some relief to the poor and needy according to the vision of the Prime Minister Imran Khan.— Faisal Khawer Butt
