Saman Rai acknowledges work of artisans

Three days Heritage Festival Ceremony on its third and last day was being organized in connection with the Pakistan Diamond Jubilee ceremonies under Punjab Arts Council at Al-Hamra. Executive Director Punjab Arts Council Saman Rai highly acknowledged the work of artisans across Punjab and also distributed appreciation certificates among them.

The provincial dance was also presented in the programme being organized at Al-Hamra. A large number of audiences greatly applauded the performance of Malko, Nayab Ali Khan and Inam Ali Khan (Raga Boys) and greatly acknowledged the endeavour of Punjab Arts Council in this regard. On the first and second day of the festival Ustad Hamid Ali Khan, Nadeem Abbas Lony Wala, Tehseen Sakina, Afzal Jutt and Imran Shaukat presented a successful show on sufi and folk songs.

This three day special cultural festival under Punjab Arts Council was being organized to promote art and cultural activities in the province.
