The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee strengthened by 29 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs 176.42 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.71.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market recorded at Rs 176.5 and Rs 177.8 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro appreciated by Rs 1.23 and closed at Rs 198.64 against the previous day’s closing at Rs 197.41. The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.53, whereas an increase of 46 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 237.93 as compared to its last closing at Rs 237.47.—APP
