The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee against US dollar remained unchanged in the interbank trading on Friday to close at Rs170.01.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 170.3 and Rs 171.8 respectively.
Likewise, the price of euro which was traded at Rs196.51, appreciated by 11 paisas as compared to its last closing of Rs196.40, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.49, whereas a decrease of Rs 1.93s was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs229.25 as compared to its last closing of Rs 231.17.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal also remained unchanged to close at Rs 46.28 and Rs 45.33 respectively.—APP
