Punjab Local Government and Community Development Minister Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed said that development projects worth Rs80 million are being executed in Union Council 212 Allama Iqbal Town Lahore.
“These projects include the construction of water supply, sewerage, and roads,” he said, adding that provision of basic amenities to the people of PP-160 is the top priority of the government.
Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed expressed the views while addressing a function held at Olympia Street, Allama Iqbal Town regarding development projects.
According to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister of Punjab, the purveying of facilities to the people is being ensured.
Rai Sattar Tahir, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Waqas Amjad, Ghulam Mustafa, Faisal Abbas, and other PTI leaders were also present on the occasion.
Later, Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed also inaugurated a Measles vaccination campaign in Allama Iqbal Town by vaccinating a minor girl.
The Punjab Minister of Local Government and Community Development said that the Punjab government is taking effective measures to ensure the wholesome health of children.
