Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated 17 billion rupees for construction of Chitral-Shandur Road. This was stated by a spokesman of provincial government while talking to media in Peshawar on Monday.
He said that construction of 150 kilometer long road will help in promoting tourism in the area. The spokesman further stated this will also generate job opportunities for youth especially those from Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Promotion of tourism, the major source of income of the local people will not only help in development of the said areas but will also uplift the living standard of the residents, he added.
