The loss of thirteen security personnel, including the brave Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ali Shoukat, in North Waziristan and Kurram is a stark reminder of the sacrifices being made daily by Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism. These martyrs, who laid down their lives in the line of duty, symbolize the courage and resolve with which Pakistan fights this battle, standing firm against forces that seek to destabilize the country and the region.

Their sacrifices will not be forgotten. Every soldier who embraces martyrdom leaves behind not only grieving families but a nation that draws strength and inspiration from their valour. It is because of such unwavering dedication that Pakistan can look forward to a future where terrorist elements will find no refuge, their networks dismantled, and their presence eradicated from the soil. As Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah once said, “There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan.” This sentiment rings truer today, as the blood of these martyrs fortifies the nation’s resolve. The ongoing anti terrorist operation reflects Pakistan’s relentless pursuit of peace and security, not just for itself but for the entire region. While Pakistan continues to bear the brunt of this war, it is crucial that the global community acknowledges and honours these sacrifices. No other nation has suffered more than us in this fight. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost, and the socio-economic fabric of the country has been deeply impacted. Yet, the international recognition of our role remains insufficient, if not muted. This fight is not just for Pakistan. Regional and global peace hinge on the defeat of these terrorist factions. It is, therefore, imperative that Pakistan is not left to fight this battle alone. As partners in global security, the world must assist Pakistan in its mission to eliminate terrorism in all its forms. The financial, logistical, and moral support is essential if the war on terror is to be won. From counterterrorism training to technology-sharing, every form of assistance will enable Pakistan to fight more effectively and bring about the peace that the world so desperately needs.
