Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb inaugurated rehabilitation work of Radio Pakistan Peshawar decrepit building in Peshawar on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, she regretted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief conspired against state institutions of the country. She said 9th May will always be remembered as black day in the history of the country.
The Minister paid tribute to the engineers of Radio Pakistan Peshawar for resuming broadcast within twenty-six hours. Information Minister also inaugurated the renovation work of Radio Pakistan Peshawar auditorium and establishment of cinema hall on the occasion. Earlier Prime Minister inaugurated Fata University Phase-1 and distributed laptops among talented youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking about the country’s difficult economic situation, Shehbaz Sharif stressed need for learning from the past.
He said this is right time to shape future of the country with expeditious efforts in agriculture, Information Technology, minerals, export and other sectors. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali expressed determination of supporting vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for development of the country.
It was worth mentioned here that Fata University was the first university of merged areas that would provide quality education to the talented youth of these districts as per international standards, said a statement of the PM Office media wing here. The foundation of Fata University constructed at a cost of Rs1.5 billion was laid during the previous government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
