The registration for ‘Honahaar Scholarship’ programme began on Monday across the province on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The Punjab Chief Minister on the occasion said, “Alhamdulillah, I have fulfilled another promise made in my first speech in the Assembly. She added, “Honahaar scholarship will fulfill dreams of youth for higher education.” She highlighted, “The launch of Honahaar Scholarship Program is an important milestone, which will ensure access to quality education for all talented but deserving students.”
Madam Chief Minister said, ”Youth want higher education and better employment.” She added, ”As per requirements of the global job market, scholarships will be given to 30,000 students in 68 disciplines under the Honahaar Scholarship Program.”
She underscored, ”Scholarships will be awarded to students of 50 public sector universities, 16 medical colleges and 131 graduate colleges.”
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said, ”The meritorious scholarship will be given to the students of LUMS, FAST, COMSATS, NUST, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute and seven more top private universities.”
