Rain wind-thundershower to continue across most parts of country

Rain wind-thundershower would likely to continue in Islamabad, Kashmir, upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, lower Sindh and eastern Balochistan during the next 24 hours.

However, partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the country.

The temperature of some major cities recorded this morning was Islamabad 25 degrees centigrade, Lahore 27, Karachi 30, Peshawar 29, Quetta and Muzaffarabad 26, Gilgit and Murree 20 degrees centigrade, Radio Pakistan reported.The local Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy to cloudy weather with chances of rain for the city for the next 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature 37 degrees centigrade and the lowest minimum 29 degrees centigrade were recorded during the last 24 hours.

The partly cloudy to cloudy weather with chances of rain has also been forecast for rest of the region.

The tourist influx at scenic spots of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was on rise as around 37,452 people from across the country visited various destinations in one day to enjoy the pleasant weather. Different places of KP province are known for low temperature in summer season.—APP
