Pakistan Meteoro logical Department (PMD) Thursday indicated chances of rain-wind-thundershower in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Sindh and eastern Balochistan.

While isolated heavy falls are also expected during the period. According to the synoptic situation, monsoon currents were penetrating upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave was also affecting upper parts of the country.

The rainfall (mm) recorded during the last 24 hours was Punjab: Jhelum 69 mm, Lahore (Shahdara 42, Misri Shah 33, Shahi Qila 28, Mughalpura 19, Lakshmi 18, City 13, Gulshan e Ravi 12, Tajpura 04, Samanabad 03, Johar Town, Iqbal Town, Gulberg 02, Township, Upper Mall 01), Kasur 57, Multan (Airport, City) 36.—APP
