LAHORE – Parts of Punjab including Lahore received rainfall of varying intensities during the last 24 hours, making weather pleasant by decreasing temperatures.
Strong winds started blowing late night that followed by rains which continued intermittently till the morning. The rains decreased maximum and minimum temperatures in Lahore and parts of Punjab.

Bahawalpur remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 38 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 27 per cent.
In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 32 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 35 per cent.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave will likely approach western parts of the country on 24th April.
Under these conditions, partly cloudy weather is expected in most upper districts of the province on Tuesday evening/night and Wednesday. However, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Murree, Galyat and surroundings on Tuesday evening/night.
On Wednesday, dry weather is expected in most parts of the province. Dust raising/gusty winds are expected in southern districts.
Lahore’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 36-38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
