The Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Saturday has said that good quality was being ensured regarding the ongoing construction works in Sialkot city for water supply and sewerage schemes worth multi billion rupees.
While presiding over the meeting of the District Coordination Committee (DCC), the SAPM Usman Dar further said that he was fully aware of the problems being faced by the citizens due to the disturbed traffic system in the city as works were under way on many roads.
He urged the citizen to face the traffic related problems with patience for the sack of the solution of old problems of their city.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would soon be briefed about current development projects in Sialkot for their timely completion.
The Punjab Minister for Special Education Ch Muhammad Ikhlaq stressed upon the traffic police department to take action against encroachments on Kashmir road and other roads in order to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of traffic in the city.
The Special Assistant to Chief Minister Ahsan Baryar, senior PTI leader Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan and others also spoke in the meeting.
