Punjab spending billions for quality edu

The Punjab government is focusing on promotion of quality education in the province and government is spending billion of rupees for provision of missing facilities, upgrading of schools, construction of additional classrooms and reconstruction of dangerous buildings under educational friendly vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.

While addressing members of school councils government higher secondary school, government girls high school and government community model school Kasooki, on Saturday.

He said that government was committed to enroll hundred percent children in the schools so that no any child could be deprived of education and now it was upon parents, social workers, civil society and members of school councils to show keen interest and cooperate with school teachers for making children enrolment campaign successful and result-oriented.

He said that members of school council could play their vital role to make educational friendly atmosphere of the schools so that teachers could perform their duties without any fear, external interference and pressure.

He said that teachers were also your daughters and sisters as like students of your areas and it was your obligation to ensure their respect in the schools and outside of the schools.

He said that services of the teachers who would show good results and perform their duties regularly, honesty and serving with the passion of the nation would be acknowledged and appreciated while there was no room for work shirkers and dishonest people in the education department.

He gave away cash prizes to Principal government higher secondary school Kassoki Ch. Arshad Hussain and Headmistress government girls high school Kassoki Madam Nadia Bukhari to show good performance.

The members of school councils assured their cooperation for community mobilization for achieving hundred percent enrolment and making the educational friendly atmosphere in schools and outside the schools.
