The government of Punjab tightened around those driving without licences but there is a relief for drivers wuth expired licences.
At the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the provincial authorities rolled out new measures to help drivers with expired licenses by removing increased fines for those whose licenses expired before January 16, 2024.
This allows drivers to renew their licenses at the previous fee as the government jacked up ratesin recent months.
Driving License Renewal
It has been learn that the new fees will apply to licenses expiring on or after January 16, 2024. To streamline the process, licenses can now be renewed online or at license offices.
To facilitate people, Lahore traffic police introduced an online service to simplify the licensing process, responding to the increasing number of applications.
