Under the visionary leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab government has initiated a historic campaign to empower and uplift persons with disabilities across the province. This transformative initiative aims to build a more inclusive society by providing comprehensive support and opportunities to individuals with disabilities. The formal registration of all disabled individuals in Punjab has been launched to ensure that they have access to essential facilities and opportunities. The campaign, spearheaded by the Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Department, Sohail Shaukat Butt, is set to revolutionize the way disability is addressed in the province.

Employment Opportunities**: A 3% quota in both government and non-government jobs will be reserved for persons with disabilities, ensuring their participation in the workforce.

Educational Support: Technical education and financial assistance will be provided to empower individuals with disabilities to pursue their educational goals. Monthly educational jobs will also be made available.

Financial Assistance: Interest-free loans will be offered to support disabled individuals in establishing their businesses or meeting their financial needs.

Transportation Accessibility**: Special concessions will be provided in public transportation, including buses, trains, and airplane fares, to facilitate the mobility of disabled individuals.
