After buying a new unit of Suzuki WagonR or any other vehicle, it is mandatory for the user to get it registered with the Excise and Taxation Department for legal ownership of the car.

The excise department in Punjab receives new registration fee and other taxes to issue documents regarding the ownership to the user. Here, we have gathered information for new registration fee for the Suzuki WagonR.

Excise New Registration Fee Update for Suzuki WagonR

The excise department charges fee for new registration on the basis of the vehicle’s engine capacity. The engine capacity of Suzuki WagonR is 998cc, means it is below 1000cc.

The department charges 1 percent of the total cost of the WagonR as its engine size not exceeding 1000cc.

As of December 21, 2023, the price of Suzuki WagonR VXR stands at Rs3,214,000, WagonR VXL Rs3,412,000 while the price of WagonR VSL-AGS stands at Rs3,741,000.

The Excise new registration fee will be Rs32,140 for Suzuki WagonR VXR, Rs34,120 for VXL variant and Rs37,100 for VXL-AGS variant.
