Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesperson Rauf Hassan has strongly criticized the federal government’s stance towards the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, labeling it as “extremely negative.” Speaking with a private TV Channel, Hassan highlighted the withholding of funds for KP and the failure to make necessary appointments, accusing the federal government of hampering the province’s development.

Hassan emphasized the importance of cooperation between the federal and provincial governments, stating that if the federal government is unwilling to cooperate, there should be no working relationship between them. He also addressed the controversy surrounding the recent allegations made by six judges, stressing that the matter should be thoroughly investigated by the Supreme Judicial Council. Hassan criticized the appointment of Justice R. TasadeqJilani to head the commission, questioning his authority and independence to preside over the case.

Furthermore, Hassan expressed concerns about the formation of the commission and the perceived lack of independence of the judiciary.. He called for a full court bench of the Supreme Court to investigate the judges’ letter.—APP
