Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has moved Supreme Court, seeking implementation of its ruling on the reserved seats.
The plea was filed by Advocate Azhar Bhandari, requesting the court to direct the Election Commission to implement the verdict.
The petition seeks the Election Commission to issue certificates of affiliation to independent candidates and act upon the short order dated July 12.
Additionally, the petition requests the court to dismiss the Election Commission’s request for clarification on the verdict. PTI argued that the Election Commission’s failure to implement the verdict has caused undue delay.
