Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said Monday that protesting against incompetence, poor policies and inflation of the federal government was a fundamental right of the people and they could not be deprived of this right.
He said this while talking to media personnel at his office here today. He said: “If the people do not protest, then petrol will be Rs 300 per liter. Everything, including petrol, flour, electricity, sugar, has become exorbitant.
We want every government to fulfill its constitutional terms, but the current federal government wants to go home on its own due to its incompetence.”
Dharejo added that the opposition also wanted the government to fulfill its constitutional term.
Now, if the PTI government was axing its own feet, what should one do? He said that re-joining the PDM is the prerogative of the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had been playing the role of opposition inside and outside the parliament.
Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejosaid that how could those earning Rs 20,000 a month live in such a high inflation. He said: ” The federal government ministers should respond.
The incompetence of the federal government has eliminated the middle class. The number of poor and unemployment in the country has increased immensely.
The three-year Paksitan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has destroyed the country. It is unknown at this time what they will do in the years to come.”
The protests were taking place in every city against inflation so the federal government should consider its policies seriously and have mercy on the poor, he concluded.
