Promotion of quality education, provision of healthcare and other facilities to the people is top priority of the government and district administration committed to implement service oriented agenda of the government for improving living standard of the masses in the district Hafizabad. these views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich while visiting Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Pindi Bhattian and different schools, on Saturday.
Assistant Commissioner Pindi Bhattian Rashid Iqbal and Chief Officer Municipal Committee Ikramullah Sandhu were also accompanied by him. While visiting THQ Pindi Bhattian, DC checked emergency, indoor, outdoor, X-Ray Room, labouratory and other departments of the hospital and reviewed availability of treatment facilities to patients including free of cost medicines, standard of cleanliness and other arrangements in the hospital.
On the occasion, DC obviously directed the hospital management to ensure maximum healthcare facilities to the patients especially under Health Card Coverage and any slimness would not be made in this connection in the hospital. He also took feedback from patients and their relatives regarding provision of health facilities and attitude of doctors and other staff with patients.
Later, DC inspected the land record centre, registry branch and reviewed availability of different facilities in the centre being provided to the people. DC also visited government high school Tahli Gorraya surprisingly and expressed his resentment over poor cleanliness and discipline and directed the Principal and teachers to improve standard of cleanliness, discipline and academic activities in the school.
