ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Tuesday approached the Supreme Court against its previous full court decision regarding allocation of reserved seats to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The PPP filed the review petition after the PML-N.
Farooq H. Naik, representing the PPP, submitted the review petition seeking a review of the decision concerning the reserved seats.
The PPP challenged the Supreme Court decision given on July 12 regarding reserved seats, and pleaded for reconsideration.
The PPP asked the top court that seats were allocated to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) without merit and urged a review of its previous decision.
Earlier, on July 15, 2022, the PML-N had also petitioned the Supreme Court for a review of decisions pertaining to specific seats.
