Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader NayarHussainBukhari has declared Ishaq Dar as an illegal Leader of the House in the Senate. In an interview with local news Channel, Bukhari said that Dar is illegally taking the facilities of the Leader of the House and using this position for his own political purposes. He also questioned why Shahbaz Sharif was proposed as Leader of the House when he is no longer the Prime Minister. Bukhari further alleged that the governor’s house is being used by the Muslim League-N (PML-N) for political purposes, and that its leaders have gone there to condole and distribute tickets. He said that no one, including the Election Commission, has raised any questions about this, which is unacceptable. “We have also filed cases,” Bukhari said. “We have not left the party. If someone commits a crime, he should be dealt with according to the law. In 2018, people were sent to a party. This should not happen again today.” —INP
