Pakistan People’s Party on Monday submitted a complaint to the Election Commission of Pakistan against Punjab police’s alleged action against the party workers in NA-127, a constituency from where party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is contesting elections. PPP leader Senator Taj Haider wrote a letter to the ECP and informed it about the police action against the party workers. He demanded the immediate release of the innocent workers detained from NA-127 Lahore and action against the culprits involved in it as per the law. In the letter, Senator Haider said, “We have the honour to report that in NA 127 from where Mr Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is contesting those who join the PPPP campaign from other parties are being arrested by the police.
