Police resolve 70 year old rivalry in SWL

District Police Officer South Waziristan Lower Farmanullah has said that two parties were saved from great bloodshed in Azamwarsak area of Tehsil Birmal and the 70-year-old rivalry was resolved through tribal elders Jirga.

DPO said that with the support of the jirga constituted by the tribal elders of the police, the ongoing negotiations between the two parties were successful and the dispute was resolved.

DPO said that the role of the tribal elders and the police in resolving the ownership dispute of the 70-year-old lamanza Pangah Manara mountain amicably is commendable. DPO added that the hill dispute was going on for 70 years between the families of late Malik Shireen Jan and Mirza Khan Dari Khel Wazir.
