Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan range, Mohammad Ali Khan on Wednesday directed the police officers to improve their performance and ensure a peaceful environment.
He expressed these views while chairing a high-level meeting regarding law and order and overall security in the Mardan region.
District Police Officer (DPO) Mardan Irfanullah, DPO Swabi Mohammad Shoaib, DPO Nowshera Mohammad Umar, DPO Charsada Sohail Khalid, DPO Mohmand Sahibzada Sajjad Ahmed, SPs Investigation and all circle SDPOs attend the meeting.
In the meeting, apart from a detailed discussion regarding law and order and overall security, the latest situations and events were also discussed. RPO directed the police officers to improve their performance and ensure a peaceful environment for the people.
He also issued orders to the officers to speed up operations to prevent various crimes, drug activities and to ensure the arrest of criminals.
He further said that the complaints made by the public should be dealt with immediately, timely and on the basis of justice, while filing of fake FIRs should be avoided.
RPO was informed during the briefing that 61 incidents of murder took place during the last month, in which 66 accused were arrested. In various operations, 13 motorcycles, one motor car.
