Khuda Bux Brohi Thatta
In a daring operation near Jhirk, Thatta’s CIA Inspector Mumtaz Ali Brohi and his team orchestrated a dramatic rescue of Ghulam Abbas Nandwani, a prominent businessman, and his driver, Jabbar Keerio, who had been kidnapped from Karachi. The successful mission, marked by a confrontation with the kidnappers, resulted in the apprehension of four suspects while two others managed to evade capture.
The abduction unfolded in Karachi’s Sachal area, where Nandwani and Keerio were forcibly taken and transported towards Keenjhar. Acting swiftly on intelligence, Thatta police, under the leadership of SSP Dr. Imran Khan, swiftly mobilized a specialized task force in collaboration with Karachi police. This joint effort led authorities to a secluded hideout near Jhirk, where the captives were being held.
In a tense standoff, gunfire erupted between law enforcement and the kidnappers. Despite the perilous situation, the police successfully rescued Nandwani and Keerio unscathed. The operation culminated in the arrest of four suspects: Manzoor Machi and Nazir Solangi from Kashmore, along with local residents Usman and Jumman Gandro. However, the masterminds behind the abduction, Ghafoor Palejo and Najeeb Sanjrani, managed to evade capture and remain at large. In a surprising revelation, CIA in-charge Mumtaz Brohi disclosed that driver Jabbar Keerio was complicit in the kidnapping scheme.
