ISLAMABAD –  Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Friday strongly condemned fake video of Azma Bokhari, vowing that the government would come after all those behind it.

“I still remember that Imran Khan being prime minister gave such statements which were really disappointing,” said Shaza Fatima. Such statements, she was of the views, fell under harassment domain.

Azma, she said, had moved a plea to the FIA and all those culprits behind it would be brought to justice.

“The government will after every individual who posted or re-posted the video,” she announced.

This kind of propaganda, Shaza said, was being done by a particular political party.

Shaista Pervaiz Malik said that she regretted over what happened with Azma Bokhari. She stated that Azma Bokhari is a brave lady but it is quite distressing that why the women are being targeted for the political agendas.

“I don’t know understand that sometime he [Imran Khan] does politics in the name of religions,” said  Shaista Pervaiz Malik, adding that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif always stopped the party leaders and workers from attacking personal lives of the political opponents.

The other party leaders also said the women should not be targeted for the sake of politics as the women were playing a great role for the country’s soft image.
