Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said on Thursday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had many charismatic leaders, some smuggle ephedrine, some were caught red-handed in drug smuggling.
Responding to PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah’s press conference he said that two groups had openly emerged in the party, one day Shabhaz Sharif and the next day Maryam group come to the media and make hue and cry.
He asked Rana Sanaullah to disclose the identity of Bhoon Das who donated Rs 30 million to the PML-N.
The minister reminded Rana Sanaullah that the people have given the PTI a mandate in the 2018 elections, and it would complete its term. The minister said that the foreign funding case of PML-N tool Akbar S. Babar had been scrapped by the scrutiny committee.
Farrukh said that people who have been involved in attacks on the institutions should not talk about the jurisdiction of institutions.
The PTI, he said, was the only political party which had provided a complete record of 40,000 donors to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Suspicious transactions in PML-N party accounts have been proved, he said adding that PML-N had no account of Rs 620 million and nine secret bank accounts of PML-N have also come to light.
The PTI was the first political party to introduce the concept of political fund-raising, said Farrukh Habib.
About Nawaz Sharif, he said that the PML-N leader had not gone to London on a picnic, he was an absconder and such people could not make choice about their return home.
