Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit today (Monday), official sources said on Sunday.

The prime minister will hold talks with the Saudi authorities on bilateral cooperation and economic affairs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif earlier had visited Saudi Arabia soon after taking over the government in April last. He paid three-day visit to the kingdom on the invitation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also attend the “Davos in the desert” summit – an initiative of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to expand the Kingdom’s role beyond oil in the global economy.

Hundreds of delegates from around the world including government officials, business leaders and even CEOs of American companies are attending the two-day Future Investment Initiative summit in Riyadh. The conference will kick off on Tuesday.
