ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Chinese embassy and offered condolence over the tragic demise of Chinese nationals in a suicide attack.
Sharif and other officials on Tuesday visited the Chinese embassy and conveyed his condolence over the death of Chinese nationals in a blast that took place in Bisham tehsil of KP’s Shangla. A suicide bomber hit an explosives-laden vehicle into a convoy of Chinese engineers, resulting in the deaths of foreign nationals.
The premier met Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, and sympathised with the government and the people of China as well as the families of the victims.
Sharif was accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other officials. On the occasion, the country’s top officials assured Chinese members of a swift probe into the tragedy to take the culprits to task.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited the embassy to mourn the deaths of Chinese nationals.
