LAHORE – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Sunday, congratulated the Sikh community living in Pakistan and around the world on the occasion of Baisakhi.
In his message, the Prime Minister highlighted that the government of Pakistan and all provincial governments are dedicated to providing all necessary facilities to Sikh Yatrees who are visiting their religious places in Pakistan to perform their rituals.
Baisakhi is a time to celebrate the arrival of spring and an opportunity to share feelings of love, affection, and joy, the PM office media wing said in a press release.
The Prime Minister also expressed his pride in the fact that Pakistan is home to a beautiful blend of different faiths and cultures. He added that the celebration of Baisakhi only enhances the beauty of this blend.
“On the occasion of Baisakhi, I give you all the message of love, affection and peace. Let’s play our role in building a peaceful world,” he added.
