Islamabad: After assuming the office of the prime minister, PM Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on a day-long visit on Wednesday where he will chair a consultative meeting on the city’s development projects.
The newly-elected Prime Minister was received by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and his cabinet members upon his arrival at the Faisal Air Base. He was accompanied by PMLN’s Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Miftah Ismail, MQMP’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, JUIF’s Maulana Asad Mehmood and others.
Upon arrival, PM Shehbaz Sharif visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam along with CM Murad Ali Shah and paid his respect to the founder of Pakistan. He also laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum and offered Fateha.
Earlier, PMLN Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb shared details of PM Shehbaz’s meeting on the economy during his flight to Karachi.

Later, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and then chair a consultative meeting regarding Karachi’s development projects. He will also be briefed about the problems of Sindh province especially Karachi.
Shehbaz Sharif will also visit Bahadurabad to meet the leadership of MQM.
