PM decides to take allies into confidence on SC cases

ISLAMABAD  – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to take coalition parties into confidence regarding cases in the Supreme Court and initiated consultations, the sources close to the development said on Friday.

The sources said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)  decided to take leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party into confidence, and the talks between the two parties would take place this afternoon at the President’s House.

The sources said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders would meet with the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party on Friday (today). President Asif Ali Zardari would also participate in the talks, with Farooq H. Naik, Sherry Rehman, and Nayyar Bukhari representing the Pakistan Peoples Party.

According to the sources, Ishaq Dar, Azam Nazeer Tarar and Atta Tarar would participate in the negotiations on behalf of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).  Irfan Qadir and Ayaz Sadiq would also take part in talks.

The sources said that Attorney General Mansoor Awan would brief President Asif Zardari and other members regarding the case of reserved seats.
