The citizens held a pickpocket from cattle market and handed him over to police after sound thrash here on Monday.
According to details, a pickpocket engaged in looting the traders and people visiting cattle market in Talagang after being chased by people jumped into a nullah.
However, the people pulled him out and thrashed him with fists and kicks. Later, the accused was handed over to police which after registering a case against him started investigation.
