PIA transports 61,461 hujjaj to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia

PIA Hajj operation which commenced from 21 May successfully concluded on 2 August 2023 with last post Hajj flight that arrived on Wednesday night.

The airline’s Pre Hajj operation of transporting intending pilgrims to Saudia Arabia started on 21 May and concluded on 22 June. Whereas post Hajj operation of bringing back hujjaj from Saudi Arabia started on 2 July and concluded on 2 August.

PIA operated 258 post Hajj flights of which 136 flights were from Jeddah and 122 flights were from Madinah, with over 96 percent punctuality and regularity. PIA transported 61,461 hujjaj to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia.

PIA had made special arrangements for hujjaj such as easy city check-in, providing convenience and time saving.

CEO PIA, AVM Amir Hayat, appreciated the performance of PIA Hajj teams on successful completion of Hajj operation.
