The national flag carrier PIA has decided to extend its flight operation to reach 14 more cities in China. According to the details, PIA has announced to run air operations to 16 cities of China simultaneously. It is worth mentioning here that PIA was already operating its flights to Beijing and Shanghai, PIA will now operate flights to 16 cities in China from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and other cities.
Simultaneous flights to 16 Chinese cities will further enhance the relationship between Pakistan and China. Increasing the flight network in China is expected to increase the revenue of the national airline also.
Few days back significant progress was witnessed regarding PIA flights to Europe.
European Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) cleared PIA in remote audit, PIA was audited online by AESA a few months ago.
The European Aviation Agency will come to Pakistan in September to conduct a physical audit of PIA and Pakistan CAA. After the success of the final audit, PIA flights to Europe will be restored.
It is pertinent to mention here that PIA has been banned from flying to European countries since June 2020 and this ban was imposed after the revelations of fake degrees of pilots, recovery in Europe will earn PIA billions of rupees.
